      William Shakespeare, in his theatrical piece “Hamlet”, presents a character who manages the Danish kingdom in a manner and model that differ from the previous ruler described in Saxo Grammaticus’s writings. The kingdom, shown through the lens of 1600 and medieval customs, features a complex prince who prompts numerous interpretive directions.
